So, today’s a special day. You don’t know what day it is? Come on, it’s the 5th of November, a day remembered all over the world for it’s explosive impact on history.

Yes, November 5th 1955 was a red letter day in the history of science, it was the day Doc Emmet Brown invented time travel. I’ll let the great man himself explain:

“That was the day I invented time travel. I remember it vividly. I was standing on the edge of my toilet hanging a clock, the porcelain was wet, I slipped, hit my head on the edge of the sink, and when I came to I had revelation. A vision. A picture in my head.
