I imagine so, hence it being left off the visual to make it neat. Besides, even though it’s lovely, he has cheated. I set myself some quite strict rules for mine (probably the reason for it being only half finished):

1. Each letter should only be made of apps beginning with that letter (A for Amazon etc etc)
2. The unused blocks should be real apps with dark icons, not faded out in Photoshop.
3. Each letter should look like a real home screen (dock bar included)
4. The icons themselves should help describe the shapes (hence the ability to imply curves etc for letters like the M)

I hadn’t colour-coded the letters properly though, so his one looks much juicier for that.

It all gets a little OCD…
