Get me to the church on time

I got married last Friday 7th August, and totally unknown to me, transport had been arranged to the church in the form of a DeLorean. A good choice as obviously you can’t be late in one of those.

All I had to do was jump in, set the time circuits for 12:34:56 07.08.09 and I was off.

There’s definitely something going on, as this was the disco at the last wedding I went to:



Despite the flyer’s claim to be able to play music from any time, he was unable to play me any music from the future, although he seemed to have a quite direct link to the early 90s.

Anyway, should I end up in the past, something like this would definitely come in handy…

Say you've gone back in time

I must at least visit America in 1955 at some point as I have my own diner in Hill Valley California. Check out the climactic scene in Back to the Future, there’s clearly a ‘Holt’s Diner’ at the end of the street.

Now, all that remains is to go to the future, something’s got to be done about our kids…

When the worlds of Back to the Future and Graphic Design mix, you can be sure I’m all over it like a rash.

Neon Neon, Boom Bip’s collaboration with Gruff Rhys of Super Furry Animals has resulted in the album ‘Stainless Style’ with accompanying picture disc singles following the theme. Stainless steel, diagonal lines and lovely ladies. I’m off to their site for a listen…

A Back to the Future moment

Back to the Future

In true Harry Hill fashion, today’s Back to the Future moment was Bill Turnbull announcing on breakfast news that the winds in part of the UK had reached 88 miles per hour. Great Scott!




Back to the Future GTA

This mod for GTA: Vice City looks amazing! It’s a real shame that as a non-PC user I won’t be driving my DeLorean round Vice City anytime soon, but for all you Windows users, it should come as some small consolation…

It makes me realise I’d love to see a great Back to the Future videogame, where you could drive the DeLorean around and manipulate events, a bit like the old Time Machine game from the 90s which I loved. The nearest we’ve got so far apart from the retro offerings, is the awful Universal Studios game originally for Gamecube. For now, stick with the Japanese SNES effort, Super Back to the Future 2…
